While I was away...

When I had Avery, she instantly became the single focal point of my life. She was my world.

And I learned quickly the moment I had Warner what it means to actually love someone as much as your first born but to simultaneously be "preoccupied". Something I never had to feel with Avery. My focus was on this beautiful baby boy in my arms and at the same time I was thinking to myself how Aves is probably getting up from her nap right now and I hope she's okay!

Good thing I am a multi-tasker.

My love had multiplied!

But while I was away at the hospital, bonding with my new son, I knew Aves was in excellent hands! Being the incredible friend that she is, Susan watched Avery the entire day I was in labor! Avery looks up to Campbell so much and they play so well together - it's adorable!

And to help Chris and I even more, my Dad and Ann stayed at our house to watch Aves the next two days! Ann had Avery's schedule down to a tee from morning bottles to evening stroller rides; she was well taken care of! Naturally, I am not surprised in the least. And if that wasn't enough, they even did my daily house chores and fixed some things around the house. If only I could get them to move in permanently! I am pretty sure Chris wouldn't even object ;) The help and support they have provided was more than we could have asked for.

More than anything, it gave me peace of mind that my little girl was okay. I missed her like crazy and was ecstatic to finally see her on Saturday morning!

I have amazing people in my life.

Aunt Susan takes me to the coolest places!
At AJ's with Aunt Susan!

Ann dressed Aves up so cute each day!
