We couldn't be happier and love him to pieces! We have been blessed...again!
After a very long and tough "last month" of pregnancy, I was ready to be induced the moment I was given the chance. Which happened to be my very original due date. And as I find myself saying often in life: "things just have a way of working out". I still can't believe it occurred to me that late in pregnancy that this baby was NOT going to be early. Here I am having Chris Morrison's son and I actually expected him to be early! Maybe THAT was my biggest bout of pregnancy brain! Well, I definitely missed the mark on that one but just as we had prayed for, he was more than worth the wait!
We arrived to the hospital shortly after they called us in! It was smooth, organized and wonderful to be surrounded by family :) We even had Jamie connected to FaceTime pre and post delivery. I love technology. Although my 1st epidural didn't work and Warner's heart rate caused some concern, it was overall a wonderful and smooth delivery. And another amazing part about getting induced that day?? My doctor (who I love!) was able to deliver him! Given the way everything played out, her calming presence proved beneficial yet again! At 6lbs, 7oz and 19 inches, he was our perfect little boy.
Perhaps that's what I love most about our God. He can show you the beauty of a Miracle and then amaze you just 14 short months later with His Generous and Divine spirit. We are forever grateful.
