I have so many wonderful updates and I can't wait to share them with all my dedicated blog followers ;) ...and try my best to give each experience the justice it deserves!
Let's start with Avery's 3D Ultrasound! I could hardly wait to get a better idea of what Baby Aves looks like and the day had finally arrived :) After much anticipation, Chris, Jamie, Natalie and I headed to the doctor for the big event. You can imagine our disappointment when we didn't get to see anything, even after 25 minutes of trying to "move" her around. Her little leg seemed to be awfully comfortable in front of her face. Our ultrasound tech was so sweet and offered for us to come back that day at 2:30 with directions to "drink something sugary!". You don't have to tell me twice!
Sadly, we had to drop Jamie back at work but at 2:30, we headed back with nervous hopes and lots of sugar in the system. IT WORKED! We got to set our eyes on precious Avery right away and wow was it incredible! Right away, we could see she had very defined lips (Chris' upper lip to be exact!) and chubby cheeks (wonder where those came from!?!) ;) It was an amazing experience and catapulted my excitement to give birth! I LOVE that it appears she looks like Chris...talk about melting a woman's heart ;)
