the Morrison family: Warner's 1st birthday party!

He's ONE!

Five years ago when my Dad gave the toast at my wedding, he found the absolute perfect way of complimenting and describing his love for me; the love for a second child. And although he doesn't think I understood his approach, I knew exactly what his words conveyed that day,

It wasn't until this last year though, that I experienced it at his level.

I have grown an indescribable love for this little boy over the last year and learned first-handedly what it feels like to love a second child. The miracle multiplies with each baby and God's grace continues to reveal its divine power.

So laid back, so selfless and happy. That is Warner. Perhaps the best behaved baby in the universe. I said it, people...I said it! There have been countless times I just look at him with admiration and then my eyes fill with watered happiness. I can't quite put my finger on why but those who know Warner will understand.

By the time his birthday party came around, we were ready to celebrate and cheers to a year of joy that he has brought us thus far!

We had a fun day of playing outside, eating delicious mustache cupcakes (thanks to....you guessed it...MER!), drinking mimosas, and enjoying good company! Thank you to all who came to celebrate and help with the party!
