Happy Birthday dear, Avery!

BIRTHDAY GIRL!

And just like that, she's TWO!

Whoever said it "just gets better and better" was absolutely right.  It is beyond my writing capabilities to explain what Avery means to me.  She has brought a light, a meaning and a purpose into my life I never knew I needed.  They have been the best two years of my life and the beginning of a role that I believe, was destined for me.  I am indebted to our Lord; words and a prayer I cannot say enough.

From her mop of black hair to her now golden pigtails.

From her contagious smile to her now infectious personality.

From the freshness of her infant touch to her now sweet wraps of cuddles.

I am still, SO in love.

She woke up on her birthday morning as if she'd had 10 before.  All smiles and giggles ready for a day of celebration; and that it was!  We loaded her up with blueberry pancakes before heading to the Train Park!  She acted as though she had never been.  Running, laughing, jumping up and down yelling CHOO CHOO TRAIN!  I could have sworn she was there 5 days before?  Regardless, we knew then, we took her to the right place ;)

The conductor even wished her a very happy birthday over the loud speaker!  Oh was it her day :)

Nana surprised Avery with a birthday visit and presents in tow!  She joined us for a family dinner and then of course...CAKE!  As if that wasn't enough, can you guess who shows up with possibly the highlight of Avery's day?  MER!  (and "Kake" and Drew).  Balloons, birthday blowers, and a Princess Dress Up set!  She was beside herself!  No surprise that Mer knew exactly what to do to end Avery's birthday with a bang!
