Pee Pee in the Po-tay!

She did it!  She went "pee pee in the po-tay" all by herself! 

We have been taking a very slow and casual approach with potty training to familiarize Aves with the concept overtime.  For months, she's had fun "pretending" to potty while mommy explains its intended use - expecting no results quite yet.

There have been many times I've been "notified" of ongoing "poo-poos" but receive a stern "no!" when asking if she'd like to try the big girl potty.  Understood and moving on.

But last night...last night we got results!

As we prepared for our nightly bath, Aves went to her potty, I helped her with her pants and wah-la.  Tinkle, tinkle!

I was soooo excited and so proud of her!  Ohhh the reasons for my smiles these days.

What a big girl!  And yes, I will be changing many diapers of hers in the future but I'd say we are headed in the right direction!
