1st haircut...and more!

Last Saturday was a wonderful family day!  We set out for 1st haircuts and accomplished just that.  It was a notable milestone that they actually got to share!  Naturally, we've had to trim Avery's bangs quite a bit but it was definitely time for an overall cut.

Warner was so enamored by the fireman chair that he hardly noticed the process.  Aves was a different story.  You know she's not "into it" if a personalized Dora video isn't keeping her attention.  But like I mentioned earlier, we succeeded and walked out with two very clean cut kiddos.

We then decided to take advantage of my mom's pool just one block away.  Haircuts, swimming and a pizza to go put a smile on all our faces.  Family days are my favorite.

Yes I am cheesy but oh well.  What fun!

"school of scaring"

After finding out about the "School of Scaring" class at our local Disney Store, it was in my schedule before the lady handed me the brochure.

Saturday morning activity?  Check!

Something to kindly "threaten" young tot with to limit brother hitting?  Check!

It was to our incredible surprise that Mer joined us for this adventure at the last minute.  Talk about texting at the right time!  The kids were so excited to have her along and Warner made sure to sneak in an abundance of girlfriend kisses!

And although the rest of the mall trip involved Mer & Kelley stores, the kids seemed to be quite satisfied with their Saturday morning!
