Tahlia's Bachelorette Party!
Annnnnd we blinked: Tahlia's Bachelorette Party! Next stop? The WEDDING!
Personally, I'm not sure why Jamie even flew back home - she was back the next Friday for another weekend of celebrations! James - you are Up in the Air!
Tahlia's Maid of Honor, Jen, did a phenomenal job planning the day! We all met at Talking Stick Resort to begin with a spa day and lunch! I decided to cash in on my Mother's Day gift of a much needed deep tissue massage. Ohhhh what a treat. I was even sore the next day - apparently there was 9 months of "stuff" to work out ;)
Tahlia was pampered all morning in bride fashion while we all hung out at the pool. The day went by in a flash so before we knew it, we were getting ready for dinner on the 15th floor. Amazing. I can't wait to bring Chris back there! The food and atmosphere were incredible.
We stopped by the casino for a quick shot at gambling and boy did I get lucky! $345 my friends! Whaaaaaaat? Yes I said it. Just a simple $20 in the Wheel of Fortune machine and wha-la. I was sooo excited I looked around for balloons to start falling from the ceiling. Hmmm - I guess that's chump change to the high rollers but I was thrilled! With a week ahead of paying a sleep nanny, it was a nice little boost.
Then we headed to The Comedy Club in Scottsdale, which was hysterical. It turned out to be a good thing that the Tempe Imrov closed down. I was much more impressed with these comedians. Another go-to spot! Jen - excellent find!
By 11:30pm, I could hardly keep my eyes open but enjoyed every minute of the day! We filled the day with great memories to send the bride off and away from single-ville. I hope she felt the same!

A weekend packed with festivities!
Busy. Busy. Busy. But all with fun and exciting things!
A couple of weekends ago marked Tahlia's Phoenix Bridal Shower. After much anticipation, planning and set-up, it had arrived! We were so happy to host this special event for Tahlia and cannot believe it means her wedding is just around the corner. Our little "Toots" is growing up.
The bridal shower wasn't even the only highlight to the weekend. Jamie and Jereme were in town for the shower and her good friend's wedding. Kristal (if you're reading) - you looked breathtaking!!!!!!
We all know how I feel about Jamie visits but it was sooo wonderful to have Jereme along this time too! I know Chris agrees with that one.
All of the boys partied in the backyard playing flimsee, drinking beer and swimming during the shower. It added such a fun element. An element us gals quickly joined as soon as the shower was over. What a fun day...and a memorable weekend!
