Dream. Come. True.

Those of you who know me well or frankly, know me a little...know that my fair skin is hardly a reflection of my eating habits.

Let me explain...Mexican Food is my weakness. I can positively, NEVER EVER turn it down! It's the one type of food that sometimes contains the word "lard" and YET I STILL, come back every time.

I have driven more miles than I would like to admit when the craving overcomes me. It's almost sad but today, I think it's finally time to put it into writing.

But the point of this entry is void of that confession. It is merely to announce that my husband, one who gets VERY annoyed by my daily craving for mexican food, has found a mexican food restaurant that HE LOVES maybe more than I do.

And you know what that means....JACK POT! Dinner is served. Thank you American Tacos. Thank you.

Hipp, Hipp...Hipstamatic!

Thanks to the Lovely Denise, I was introduced to the incredible iPhone App of Hipstamatic.

Hipstamatic is a camera app that develops your pictures into unique, professional-looking photos! The effects are incredible and sadly, has me wondering why I have a $1,000 camera sitting in my house. ...I wish I was kidding. (Nora - seriously, I wish I was kidding).

To give you some examples:

I guarantee anyone with an iPhone reading this blog entry is downloading this APP as we speak! Have fun!

Is this a joke?

Excuuuse me for trying to take on another DO-IT-ALL weekend! Exuuuse me for just trying to be "me" on steriods. (not literally over-thinkers!). But really, not even so much on steriods so much as "on a roll".

Welcome weekend of Nesting while not being Pregnant. Welcome weekend of get rid of everything you thought you would one day sit back, sift through and reminisce. Sentimental I am. But NOT when it clutters me up.

On Friday, I thought we lived in a house too small. By Sunday, I felt we had room to start charging for storage space. Yes, indeed it happened.

FINALLY.

I did more house cleansing than Olay's layest foaming cleanser. And just when I thought the guest room was enough to tackle, Chris and I decided to take on our OVER-STUFFED garage and CLEAN.

By 1am we were in bed. Exhausted.

By Tuesday morning, I was officially sick. For the first time in over a year. You think I am kidding but throughout pregnancy, I had a superhero immune system (one of the few good things) and never once caught a cold. Until now.

I learned quickly that it is NOT easy caring for a lil' baby when sick and almost as expected, Avery now has the sniffles. It was not the best week from very sore throat to unexpected food poisoning (both me and Chris - don't ask)...it took it's toll.

The good news? That was last week and this week is a whole different story!

I AM BACK and the only question left is...

"what is left to organize?" Wink.

4 Months!

Memorial Day BBQ !

Like it or not, Summer is here!

Yes, these next few months are among my least favorite of the year due mainly to Arizona's horrible heat, but with a new baby and lots of "firsts" to explore, maybe this year will be different! We have Mission Beach, birthdays and friend visits to look forward to!

We celebrated Memorial Day weekend a little bit differently than last year but we at least managed to squeeze in one event to sit back and relax!

Avery had a great time splashing in the pool with her friend Campbell-Bamble! Campbell was such a sweetheart and took excellent care of Aves! Such a fun afternoon with the Plas' family, as it always is!
