Casey and Allison visit The Morrison's!

My two little cousins, Casey and Allison, spent last Saturday night over at our house for the first time. This sleepover was long overdue so I wanted to make sure they had a wonderful time and a lot of great memories. We sure did a bunch in just 24 hours but it was all worth it! From baking cookies, painting their very own aprons, LOTS of swimming, trying on my high heels, eating pizza, watching movies and much much more...I was exhausted! They were perfect little angels and it was fun spending more time with them than I usually get to :)

Jamie's 25th Birthday!

It's definitely the month for Birthdays!! Lil' James is 25....wow, they grow so fast! ;) My little sister has become quite the beautiful, successful and fabulous woman! What better way to celebrate such a great day (the day my very best friend was born!) than to have a great dinner with her closest friends?! Although the dinner was wonderful, I think the photo shoot on the LOVE statue was the highlight of the evening. A special thanks to our talented photographer, Chris! Happy Birthday James!

4th of July at The Plas' Cabin!

After my birthday, Chris and I packed up the car and headed to the Plas' cabin in Overgaard for the 4th of July weekend! This is the second year we've celebrated up North and it's a blast every time. It was quite the scene at the annual Heber-Overgaard parade with water balloons and water guns everywhere! Campbell had a great time and was quite brave on the big ol' bouncy jumper. Great weekend!

My Birthday at the Montelucia!

Since Chris and I have birthdays within a week of each other, it always turns out to be a week filled of fun! But, I must say that this birthday surpassed all of my other ones! It was the best yet! Chris suprised me with a night at the Montelucia (a gorgeous new hotel in Paradise Valley). He had the entire schedule mapped out in a birthday "booklet" he created (does it get better?). After we grabbed a drink at the pool, it was off to the spa around 4pm for a 35 minute massage at the best spa I have been to (maybe even better than the Grand Wailea!?). We spent the rest of the afternoon by the pool, drinking and relaxing. Our dinner at the hotel was amazing...by the end of it, my cheeks hurt so badly from laughing so hard...Chris was on a roll! When we got back to the room, Chris surprised me (yet again) with Rose Pedals everywhere! Just when you thought it ended there, Chris booked me ANOTHER 1 hour massage the next morning! I definitely have the dream husband; I am so very blessed!

Chris' Birthday BBQ!

We had such a great time with family and friends to celebrate Chris' 28th Birthday! On a hot, summer June day, everybody quickly gravitated towards the pool. You can't beat grilling hamburgers (and veggie burgers of course) while sipping a nice cold Mai Tai! Oh and of course, the boys finishing the night off with a cigar! Happy Birthday C. Cat!
